Concrete look

Concrete-look wallpaper – a timeless trend

A concrete-look wallpaper is suitable for any room and creates an industrial style with loft charm in your home. The simple and stylish look can be completely transformed with different combinations.

The used look of concrete-look wallpaper works best in high, light-filled rooms with large windows. Exposed concrete can be combined perfectly with bright colours in furniture or wall art and goes well with lamps with geometric shapes and visible light sources. By combining it with brick wallpaper, you can give your home the charm of an old factory building.

More than just grey walls

Stone walls in a concrete look are not just boring wallpapers with a concrete or plaster look in grey. They are available in a wide range of shades from light grey, dark grey and anthracite to beige and cream tones. Small details in gold and silver, as well as different textures and feels, make each wallpaper unique and ensure an exciting eye-catcher on your wall.

Convincingly authentic concrete look

With concrete wallpaper, you can bring realistic concrete textures to your walls. You can choose from a variety of materials. A distinction is made between the surface and the backing: the backing material ensures adhesion to the wall, while the surface provides the unusual look and texture of the stone effect.

Non-woven wallpapers and paper wallpapers are available as backing materials. Non-woven wallpapers in concrete look are very robust and can be applied quickly and easily. The material is often flame-retardant and ensures a good indoor climate. Paper wallpaper is a more cost-effective alternative. Choose from our many designs!

Applying concrete wallpaper correctly

To apply concrete-look wallpaper to the wall professionally, you will need paste (and a stick for mixing), a brush, a wallpapering brush, a wallpapering table, a ladder, scissors, a knife, a spirit level and a folding rule.

First measure the walls and order the required amount of wallpaper from our online shop. As there may be some wastage, it is advisable to buy an extra roll. Then cut the rolls to size according to your measurements. Cut off approx. 5 cm more than measured and remove this excess once the strip is on the wall. When laying out the wallpaper, pay attention to the pattern and prepare it accordingly.

Now mix the paste until it is lump-free and brush it onto the wall using the brush. Apply the first strip of wallpaper with the edge at the ceiling and brush it onto the wall from top to bottom using the wallpaper brush. Now cut off the excess and do the same with the other strips. If any marks appear, you can remove them with a mark roller.

Vinyl wallpaper is very robust and does not need to be soaked before hanging. You can apply it directly to the wall. Paper wallpaper needs to soak for about 5 to 10 minutes so that the paste can be absorbed before it can be applied to the wall.
